Llanidloes secured draw in late drama Swalec Division Two North

Both teams had to settle for a point each in a dramatic finish to their Swalec Division Two North game, where it was the visitors who scored the first points from a converted try scored by right winger Richard Price. However the Castle men replied with and unconverted try scored by Arfon Pugh, before the visitors went further ahead from a successful penalty kick by Robert Cooper and soon afterwards Robert Cooper added another successful penalty but only for the castle men to reply with an unconverted try by Alex Evans. Then Llanidloes right winger Richard Price scored an interception converted try and the following next point were scored by Alex Evans who was successful with a penalty to narrow the cap to four points before the visitors captain Paul Jehu scored a converted try to leave an interval score of Harlech 13 - Llanidloes 24.
The first points of the Second Half was an unconverted try scored by Alex Evans. The Castle men also scored the next with a bonus point unconverted try from Ynyr Roberts and most memorable Llion Kerry scored the castle men fifth try. Alex Evans was suuccessful with another penalty. But as the referee called time up the Castle men were penalised
for not rolling away and Robert Cooper successfully held his nerve to secure a full time score of Harlech -31 Llanidloes -31.
