Llangefni outclass brave Castle men
Having previously claimed back to back deserved victories over both Menai Bridge and Rhyl the Castle men was keen to keep their good run going when they travelled up to Llangefni and the visitors soon found themselves behind courtesy of a converted Aron Oliver try and soon after the Home side showed their dominance and gained further converted tries scored by Greg Horseman who scored the first of his four tries and pressure told on the Castle men who conceded another try courtesy of Carwyn Lloyd Owen before Greg Horseman went over for his second try, with fullback Rhys Hughes successful with the conversion but as time ran out before half time finally the visitors went over to score an unconverted Paul McGhee try for a half time score of 5-31 in the home sides favour.
Llangefni upped the tempo in the second half with further converted tries scored by Carwyn Lloyd Owen Greg Horseman two and Gethin Huw Jones with Greg Horseman also successfully converting two tries and adding to his points tally. One big plus for the visitors was the running angles of centre Andrew Stone Williams but as the visitors went in search of more points Llangefni closed them down to leave a fulltime score line of Llangefni 50 - Harlech 5 credit must be given to Harlech for not giving up the fight right up until the end. Meanwhile Harlech next faces a possible double header home game against Holyhead next Saturday 28th January 2017 with a 14-30 kick off.
