Harlech ended their home campaign with a disappointing home defeat at the hands of Llanidloes. However it was Harlech who made the best possible start courtesy of a twenty fifth minute successful penalty kick by Aeron Griffiths however just a few minutes later Llanidloes missed the chance to tie the score when Adam Price missed the resulting penalty kick. However just a few minutes later after a couple of missed tackles by the castle men Llanidloes winger James Davies went over for a converted try to leave an interval score line of Harlech 3 - Llanidloes 7.

It was Llanidloes who made the best possible start to the second half courtesy of a successful Adam Price penalty kick however their seven point lead was soon cut to two points when influential winger Ynyr Roberts crossed for an unconverted try. However Llanidloes replied with a converted try courtesy of Adam Price and just a few minutes later Adam Price was successful with his second penalty kick to leave a fulltime score line of Harlech 8 -Llanidloes 20

Meanwhile Harlech next faces a Gwynedd cup quarter final against Pwllheli Seconds at Parc Bodegroes next Wednesday evening 3 May 2017 with a 19-30 pm kick off .

Llanidloes nominated the castle men influential flanker Llion Kerry as man of the match.
